I was adopted from Wuhan, China when I was 9 months old. My mother, is also an adoptee. She was adopted from Frankfurt, Germany when she was about 2 years old. My mom was an Air Force brat, but she and my dad both call Texas their home. Which, is where my home is. I've always said that China is my motherland, but Texas is my heart. I am definitely more American than I am Chinese, but I'm proud of both of my cultures. I've loved living in China and learning Chinese, but I do love coming home, seeing my family, and enjoy the state that I call home.
My favorite things in the entire world are; family, friends, Ultimate Frisbee, shoes, macaroons, puppies (especially my puppy, Kogi), elephants, music, and Egypt. I know, random, but it's true. I'm also an avid Instagrammer (Is that right?) and yes, I like to take selfies. I also like to travel, read, and annoy my mom. :)
